How does fund raising through Alex&Sam work?
When consumers shop through Alex&Sam, they designate which organization they would like a donation to be made to. (Donations are based on the total goods purchased excluding tax and shipping costs). Alex&Sam sends the donation to the nonprofit.
How much donation can this program generate for my nonprofit?
The amount of donation depends on number of your supporters that shop through Alex&Sam. To find out the donation schedule, please contact us.
Does Alex&Sam charge nonprofits to participate?
No. There is no cost for nonprofits, and no cost to supporters.
When will my nonprofit receive payment?
Alex&Sam mails out checks quarterly approximately 60 days after the end of each quarter. This wait period is required to clear purchases, returns, refunds, and payments from our retail partners. There is a minimum of $25 for each check. Donations totaling less than $25 will roll over to the next quarter and so on until $25 is accrued.
